The Stakeholder Onboarding Model: Addressing the Challenges of Multi-Stakeholder Onboarding

Today, more and digital services get designed to address multi-stakeholder challenges easing transactions communication along supply chains. Here, it is essential that the underlying satisfy all relevant stakeholders sufficiently. Especially, onboarding as a problem - service fit by itself does not guarantee support adoption of stakeholders. Given stakeholders’ unique roles responsibilities they pose different needs requirements complicating process. To ensure stakeholder are met, we propose Stakeholder Onboarding Model (SOM) when designing projects, such services. It step-by-step guide towards attractive customized network at question. The SOM adopts combines Actor-Network Theory (ANT) Stage-Gate (SGM) continuous improvement reflection cycle. intended management process from design implementation solution. This paper evaluates with practical use case port logistics. Subsequently, its usefulness, applicability, generality discussed leading first iterations SOM.
